Ok, A bit about me,
I was diagnosed with Idiopathic Degenerative Hearing loss in my Mid 20’s, and was encouraged to find a career that wasn’t hearing dependent. So after some time and being encouraged by a dear friend, I looked into Registered Massage Therapy. What I found fascinated me and I’ve been hooked ever since.
I have been a Registered Massage Therapist since March of 2012. In that time I have taken additional courses and certifications in Infant Massage Instruction, Certified Paediatric Massage Therapy, and Scar Tissue Mobilization. I’m a bit of an education junkie and love to read the latest research on anything related to Massage Therapy, Therapeutic Touch, and Pain Management. Brennan would love for me to become certified in Canine Massage Therapist and it’s definitely on my list of courses to take. I believe it’s very important that people make educated decisions about their own health care and I do my best to explain how muscles and the body work in a way that is accessible to everyone, regardless of age or education.
In my off time I enjoy volunteering at my kid’s high school supporting the Theatrical and Performing Arts programs, Axe Throwing with my kid, hanging out with my reptiles and Brennan, and tinkering with my 2003 Jeep TJ.
